As Reed Turkey, we are looking for an " Accounting Specialist" with below requirements for our client which is leading company in the Manufacturing sector, located in Izmir.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of total experience, with at least 2 years in corporate finance or financial accounting
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in English for business communication
- Preferably experience in the manufacturing/production sector
- Holding a local accounting certification is a plus
Job Description:
- Record and reconcile daily accounting transactions in line with company procedures
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure their accuracy
- Prepare statutory declarations and reports in compliance with local financial regulations
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in tax calculations, declarations, and compliance matters
- Participate in cost control, budgeting, and reporting tasks when required
- Maintain updated financial documentation and ensure data integrity
- Communicate regularly in English with internal and external stakeholders
