As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Chief Accountant" with below requirements for our multinational client operating in manufacturing sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law, economics, business administration, accounting, banking, public administration.
- Active registration/license in Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants of Turkey (TÜRMOB),
- At least 8 years of practical experience is required,
- Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting, and other accounting tools,
- Proficiency in English
- Reside or willing to reside in Ankara.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements),
- Design and manage budgets, forecasting future revenues and expenses, and analysing financial performance,
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations,
- Conduct internal audits, review financial records, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information,
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy,
- Communicate financial information to the stakeholders.
