As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Banquet Sales Manager" with below requirements for our client, a five-star hotel located in Izmir, operating in the hospitality industry.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in OPERA systems is a plus
- Strong spoken English skills are required
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in banquet/event sales management in a luxury hotel environment
- Strong understanding of the hospitality and event planning industries
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to deliver exceptional service
- A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving sales goals
Job Description:
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve banquet sales targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other stakeholders
- Creating tailored proposals and negotiating contracts to meet client needs and hotel profitability goals
- Collaborating closely with the banquet operations team and other departments to ensure flawless event execution
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
- Representing the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and networking activities
- Providing regular sales reports, monthly forecasts and annually budgets to the senior management team
