As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "QHSE Manager" with below requirements for our client operating in building materials sector in Ankara.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering or in a Technical field.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality & HSE Auditing.
  • Advanced knowledge about Quality & HSE Management Systems.
  • Analytical approach; Problem solving attitude.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership attitude; Time management and developed planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up the company’s Quality & HSE Management Systems by mapping and analyzing processes, releasing and updating procedures and guidelines within the organization and with the support of each Process Owner.
  • Ensures that the Quality & HSE Management Systems are implemented and operate efficiently in the assigned facilities according to Corporate requirements; in addition, ensures that systems are constantly updated and in compliance with quality and HSE regulations.
  • Supervises the adequacy of the Quality & HSE Management Systems, by monitoring processes and creating and analyzing proper performance KPIs; in addition, identifies opportunities for their improvement, recommending and implementing appropriate actions.
  • Prepares and updates the Quality & HSE Systems Manual and supports the different functional areas in drafting operating manuals and procedures, in accordance with the Corporate ones.
  • Manages the Quality management & HSE documents, ensuring that all relevant ones are updated in accordance with Corporate procedures, when processes change and that all modifications are communicated to the interested parties.  
  • Executes the risk assessments concerning the employees activities, the equipments, the products, the offices and the plants; update the assessments periodically and when some change occurred or after a significant HSE events.
  • Conducts and manages the Quality & HSE internal audit, verifying compliance with the audit schedule and ensuring audits are carried out in an effective manner.
  • Manages, supervises and develops the team, in collaboration with the local HR Department.
