As Reed Turkey, we are looking for an "Equipment Programmer Specialist" with the below requirements for our international manufacturing client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, maintain, and optimize PLC software for assembly, testing, and automation equipment.
Design and implement HMI applications to support machine operation and process monitoring.
Support machine commissioning, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
Develop and maintain modular software architectures and standardized programming concepts.
Work closely with Mechanical Design, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams throughout project execution.
Collaborate with external suppliers and technology partners during equipment development and implementation phases.
Analyze machine and process data to identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements.
Participate in software testing, validation, and acceptance activities.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, software standards, and project records.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of innovative automation technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience in PLC programming within manufacturing, automation, or special-purpose machinery environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
Experience with HMI development and industrial automation systems.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, OPC UA, or EtherCAT.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, C++, or Python.
Experience in machine commissioning, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of automated manufacturing processes and machine control systems.
Knowledge of software development principles and version control systems.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
Good command of English.

Experience with Git or comparable version control platforms.
SAP knowledge.
Knowledge of machine safety standards.
Experience with industrial data collection or traceability systems.
German language skills.
