As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Health and Safety Manager" with below requirements for our client operating in FMCG sector.
Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, or similar disciplines
- Minimum 15 years' experience, min 5 years in managerial role
- Strong manufacturing / field background; familiarity working with global organizations
- Solid knowledge of Turkish OHS Law
- Experience in crisis management, audits and multi‑site operations
- Class A OHS Specialist preferred (strong Class B candidates considered); NEBOSH is a plus
- Advanced English-speaking skills
- Active driver, no travel restrictions
- Positive, credible, results‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements
- Lead OHS activities across factories, depots and offices
- Own major incident & accident investigations, performing deep root cause analysis and driving effective corrective actions
- Strengthen machine safety, work permit systems, risk assessments and emergency management (firefighting, electrical safety)
- Improve internal traffic safety: forklifts, pedestrian interactions, racked & non‑racked warehouses
- Drive Behavior‑Based Safety, actively engaging blue‑collar employees
- Lead road safety & Route to Market (RTM) topics:
- Act as the main contact for audits (Group, Corporate, legal authorities) and manage corrective action follow‑up
- Track and improve accident frequency & severity rates, safety culture and site maturity levels
- Lead and technically guide a senior H&S team and OSGB resources
