As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Regional Procurement Manager " with below requirements for our international manufacturing client.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the regional procurement function global, ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, technical/MRO supplies and indirect purchasing categories to achieve cost, quality, service, and sustainability targets.
  • Build, evaluate, and maintain a high-performing supplier portfolio by identifying strategic suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements, and managing supplier performance.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, alternative material development, and continuous productivity projects.
  • Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, contracts and supply agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and risk management standards.
  • Oversee import and international logistics operations, ensuring timely customs clearance, regulatory compliance and uninterrupted material availability.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure continuity of supply and support new product introductions.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs, market trends, commodity developments, foreign exchange impacts and supply risks to develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, ethical sourcing standards, procurement policies, and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, coach and develop the regional procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support regional and global strategic projects, including supplier localization, dual sourcing, digital procurement initiatives, and procurement process standardization.
  • Prepare and present executive-level procurement reports, market intelligence, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, driving informed business decisions and long-term value creation.
  • Supervise and work in a hands-on role that will include daily planning/scheduling, procurement, and logistics management.
  • Plan and forecast inventory to include managing inventory levels and inventory turns and minimizing obsolescence, scrap, aged inventories and inventory reserves.
  • Continuously improve strategic processes involving forecasting, demand management, and the development of effective internal tools.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly inventory & procurement reports as well as participate in the monthly metrics review.
