As Reed Turkey, we are looking for an "Manufacturing Technology Expert – Assembly" with the below requirements for our international manufacturing client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and standardize assembly concepts, methods, and best practices across Festo’s global production network.
  • Develop assembly concepts for new and existing products from concept phase to implementation.
  • Analyze assembly processes and identify optimization, automation, and digitalization opportunities.
  • Lead and support international assembly-related projects and technology initiatives.
  • Support product industrialization activities with a focus on Design for Assembly principles.
  • Define, document, and maintain global assembly standards and standard solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative assembly technologies, automation solutions, and digital tools.
  • Support international production sites in implementing assembly standards and methods.
  • Conduct trainings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities across the global production network.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or manufacturing environments, preferably in assembly operations.
  • Experience in engineering project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of assembly technologies, manufacturing processes, and automation solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

 

 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Design for Assembly methodologies.
  • Knowledge of MTM methods and time management systems.
  • Experience with Poka Yoke principles and assembly process optimization.
  • Knowledge of ergonomic assessment methods such as EAWS.
  • Experience with digitalization, automation, or AI-based manufacturing solutions.
  • Experience working in an international manufacturing environment.
